Marco & Susanna ~ Wedding in Washington D.C. and Old Town Alexandria
A classy simplicity marked this beautiful wedding on a cold and windy day in Washington D.C. The ceremony was at Old St. Mary's in the District and the reception was held at Il Porto Ristorante in Old Town Alexandria.
At this spot on the Old Town pier, they had their first kiss.
Just yards from the first kiss spot, is the bench where Marco proposed to Susanna. I'm guessing she said, "Yes."
Most impressive, however, was this couple's dedication to their portraiture. The temperature was around 20 degrees with high winds. "Cold" doesn't quite cover the sensation. "Painful" is more accurate. And yet, they still look so happy!
