This couple celebrated their wedding with great joy, lots of sunshine and a rockin' reception at Bowling Green Country Club in Front Royal.

Deep in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, Maria and James were married at a beautiful ceremony amid the newly blossoming trees on a perfect Spring day.  They celebrated the union with a host of their family and friends at a lively reception with a big tent, pig roast, various games and an enormous bonfire.  I am certain that a great time was had by all!

We did this fun engagement portrait session at the historic Manassas Battlefield, where Paul and Rachel were engaged several months ago.

Last week, my younger brother got married at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Lafayette, Indiana (the same Church where my wife and I were married nearly 9 blissful years ago.)

I was unable to photograph the wedding, as I had other duties:  three of my children were in the wedding party and I was best man.  Well, co-best man--I gratefully shared the duties with this guy, whose wedding I photographed in March.

We were, however, able to take just a few minutes between the ceremony and reception to make some lovely relaxed portraits in the front of the church.  I can't wait to see photographs from the rest of the day taken by Vincent.
