Two large, Catholic families came together in this "uniting of the clans," as Jake and Melanie made their vows and were joined in Holy Matrimony at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Front Royal. The Catholic Nuptial Mass was followed by vivacious reception at a barn in rural Virginia and a great time was had by all. Featuring homemade brews, wine and food; live music provided by Melanie's band,
Low Water Bridge, accompanied by members of
Scythian; as well as lawn games, multi-colored lanterns sent off into the night sky, Ukrainian Folk Dancing, dancing, dancing and also dancing.
