“How to Use Your DSLR Camera”
So, you've got a nice camera.  Now get the most out of it.

 with Craig Spiering

Next Workshop:  Saturday, December 10th, 12pm to 5pm at the Warren County Community Center in Front Royal.

Utilize the potential of your DSLR* camera and expand your skills as a photographer with this powerful 5-hour workshop

o   Learn how to operate your camera in manual mode.  Take control of your photographs and work confidently in different situations and lighting conditions, including the basics of natural light photography, portraiture, sports/action photography, landscapes and indoor flash photography.
o   Learn to take great photos with important techniques and photographic theory—giving your images pleasing composition, correct exposure and proper focus.
o   Learn about professional post-processing to make your photos stand out and prepare them for printing or for use on the web using both free editing software (Picasa®) and professional software (Photoshop®).
o   Bring your camera for some hands-on learning when we get out of classroom and shoot some photos as a group for the final hour, utilizing the techniques you’ve learned and with the assistance of your instructor, Craig Spiering.
o   After the Workshop:  The learning doesn’t stop there.  In the months after the workshop, you will be able to upload your photos to the workshop blog and gain feedback and encouragement from your classmates and from Craig.

Limit of 10 students for this workshop.  So book your spot now, before the class fills up.
$55 per seat! (Special introductory price.)  Contact Craig Spiering at 540-683-7106 or spieringphoto@gmail.com

* A DSLR camera is recommended in order to take full advantage of its manual capabilities and expandability, but is not required to attend the workshop.
